Touch Football Northern Territory featured on ABC Radio recently to discuss the National Youth Championships and Alliance Cup in September.

The interview included Touch Football NT Sports Operation Manger Ben Canton, NT Alliance Cup Women’s Coach, Tom Edgewood and NT 18’s Girls representative, Emily Wilson.

The interview focused on the team’s preparations, especially given the distance players have to travel to train together.

Edgewood spoke about the importance of training camps and allowing all teams to bond and create new combinations to enable the teams to achieve their highest ability at state and national competitions.

Canton spoke about the excellent development pathways Touch Football offers for players from a grassroots level through to the elite level.
